Sailing to the Sunset
Something different than I usually do. Usually I try to capture a scene as close to the way I saw it, but this sunset inspired something different.
The final image is a combination of 2 images I took of this sunset. The background was a panning slow shutter shot after the sun had set to blur the lines of the ocean and sky; warped to create a wave effect. I then stacked the sun and silhouetted boat from a previous shot to add visual interest and a resting spot for the eyes.
I had fun getting out of my usual routine of editing which inspired a whole day of creating. Something that I had put on hold for a while.

This image is for sale on my FineArtAmerica store should you be interested.

Thank you :)
